By Bus
A Lough Swilly bus leaves Buncrana for Carndonagh (45 minutes, no service on Sunday). Lough Swilly also runs a bus between Derry (55 minutes) and Malin Head via Carndonagh.
Northwest Busways run a service from Carndonagh to Derry (50 minute, no service on Sunday) and one between Carndonagh and Letterkenny (1 hour 20 mins, no service on Sunday).
Bus Éireann and Ulsterbus provide services all over Ireland to and from Derry city centre.
