Colgan Community & Resource Centre Ltd

The Colgan Community & Resource Centre Ltd is a community centre dedicated to providing facilities and spaces for community, education, learning, arts, performance and development classes, workshops, meetings, events and activities. We are based at the Colgan Hall, a wonderful old listed building, built by the community of Carndonagh in 1914.

We are a social enterprise and a registered charity. The Hall is managed by a voluntary Committee and Board, currently comprising of 10 members. We have three staff positions funded by Pobal, a Supervisor – Nuala Mc Laughlin, and two part-time Caretakers – Johnny Shiels & Charlie Mc Kinney. We also have CE & Tus positions at the Hall.

We are involved in several community organisations and networks, including Eco Car, Carn Fairtrade, Inishowen Social Enterprise Network, etc.
